The Universal is a Denver, CO brunch stop with unique takes on classic dishes. Vernonian worked on redesigning their site to give it a bolder, more modern look. We designed a web version of their menu to aid in client maintenance and user experience. No one likes opening a PDF on their phone.
We expanded The Universal's existing color scheme to include a contrasting orange hue in addition to adding a range of shades for each color. After standardizing their type system, we then designed five pages that keep their simple and bold feel by relying on images of their fantastic looking dishes.
